Introduction

Partnership
CIS Risk Management Consultants partner with you, focusing on your interests, needs, and priorities. Respecting the vast differences among our members, we treat each in the unique way that works for them. We educate members to identify their own exposures and prevent claims before they happen. Our ultimate purpose is to help you become safer and healthier, thereby reducing the cost of risk financing. Our information, analysis, and insight come from multiple perspectives. We earn your trust by being resourceful, dependable and credible. We offer technical expertise, as well as tools and resources you can use.

Services
CIS' Risk Management Staff are trained to provide a variety of risk management services. We ensure our members receive the right combination of resources and intervention in order to prevent accidents and minimize the financial impacts of claims or litigation.

The CIS Risk Management Team offers on-site inspections to identify and address risk factors affecting workplace safety, third-party liability, and property protection. Written recommendations, cross-referencing state and federal regulations, are supplemented with suggestions and materials on a variety of related topics including skateboard parks, playground safety, law enforcement liability, employment pre-loss legal, confined spaces, blood-borne pathogens, and safety committees.

By working together with our Risk Management Team and taking advantage of the Risk Management Services and Training offered, members can reduce losses and help keep their contributions affordable.
